Whenever I see celebrities on Youtube interviews and whatnot being asked what their favorite song is, I always stop to reflect my own answer to that question.

Ultimately, I decided, that if I ever become rich and famous and is asked such a question on a video for public viewing, I would choose A Case of You by Joni Mitchell, off her critically acclaimed album, Blue.

Fans of the oldies will know this song quite well. Joni Mitchell is legendary for her top notch songwriting, a clear influence to another one of the motel’s favorite artists, Taylor Swift.

The song is sad, melancholic, reflective, yet witty and intelligent. Her lyrics are equivalent to brilliant poetry, begging to be analyzed but still never quite understood.
