Happy Halloween from the motel! Holidays are so deeply cherished and remembered in my family, so I had to make sure I extended it to my readers as well. Thanks for joining me along for the ride, if only I could send cookies to you all!
Sometimes I would daydream about how I would really celebrate Halloween. You know, if I had an infinite sum of money and the landscape of a mansion, such as a Gatsby party house. The picture in my head always includes a fog machine, some spooky music, fake blood and cobwebs, flashing lights, and a wonderful assortment of candies and treats.
But for now, I’ll be passing out candy to the children on this lovely night, dressed as one of the ghosts from It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, which I did not write about this year, but perhaps next year.
